As per the sources in the year of 2017, nearly 4,58,494 students appeared in the Kerala SSLC examination and the results of these examinations are given on the 5th May 2017. Around 2933 examination centres were maintained for this examination and the overall pass percentage of the students is 95.98 in the SSLC examination and nearly 4.6 percent students passed with an A+ grade. The best performance is seen in the district of Thiruvananthapuram with 99.92 percentage.

The Kerala board of higher secondary education or the Kerala state board is established in the year 1990 and located in the Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
